AutoCAD Design Engineer (Fabricated Metal)

Location: Caledonia, Wisconsin (Onsite Only)
Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 annually (based on experience)
Status: Full-time, Permanent W-2 Employee with Full Benefits

We are hiring a 1st Shift AutoCAD Design Engineer – Architectural & Structural Steel to join a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Caledonia, WI. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and detailed production drawings for custom large-scale motorized door systems used in industrial environments

• Contribute to projects that integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, tailored to meet specific client requirements

• Generate technical documentation to guide fabrication and installation processes

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality, precise designs

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree focused on architectural or structural steel design

• At least 2 years of hands-on design experience in a related role

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting software

• Experience with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or Tekla

• Familiarity with electrical schematics is a plus, but not required

• Strong work history and commitment to quality

• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder

• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Caledonia, WI
