Our company is seeking a collaborative individual who is dedicated to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, capable of working with multiple teams throughout the design, development, and testing process. The primary role of the Software Quality Assurance Engineer will involve testing and validating cryptographic products. This includes the installation, integration, and testing of operational equipment and software to ensure compliance with system design, requirements, and standards. In addition, the engineer will be responsible for conducting thorough security verification testing of cryptographic product designs and equipment, while keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. Mentoring colleagues and staying adaptable to new technologies are also key aspects of this position.

Qualifications:
● Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph is a must
● Proficiency in Python coding language
● Proficiency in C coding language
● Hands-on experience in testing and debugging
● Ability to analyze system requirements and develop corresponding tests
● Skilled in writing tests using Python
● Capable of debugging existing software and resolving defects
● Collaborate with hardware and software engineers in developing systems for cryptographic products
● Draft, review, and update test plans and system documentation
● Contribute to improving documentation and development process standards
● Develop and execute test procedures for software components
● Modify software to correct errors and enhance performance
● Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to meet operational specifications

Other Highly Desirable Experience:
● Proficiency in embedded software development
● Familiarity with FPGA programming
● Knowledge of cryptographic protocols, hardware, and software

Education/Experience:
Mid-Career: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in test and/or software development, with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Alternatively, an additional four (4) years of experience can be substituted for the education requirement.

Senior: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in test and/or software development, with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Alternatively, an additional four (4) years of experience can be substituted for the education requirement.
