Food Ingredients Account Executive
Location: Home-Based | Territory: Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi
Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 Base + 35% Target Bonus + Company Car

Drive Growth in a Key Territory for an Industry Leader!
Our client, a well-established and highly respected supplier of food ingredients and specialty chemicals, is seeking a motivated Account Executive to join their team. This role is ideal for a food ingredient sales professional ready to manage a South Central U.S. territory — representing top-quality products to food, nutraceutical, and beverage manufacturers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow customer accounts across Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Mississippi.

  • Promote a diverse portfolio of functional food ingredients to manufacturers.

  • Develop strong relationships through regular in-person visits (travel approximately 3 days per week).

  • Negotiate effectively to close sales and expand product placement.

  • Deliver compelling presentations and product information to key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer support and satisfaction.

  • Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet goals and drive revenue growth.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited university.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with a manufacturer or distributor of functional food ingredients in sales, sales support, technical service, or R&D.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.

  • A confident, hardworking attitude with a positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic personality.

  • Valid driver’s license (no DUIs) and ability to travel regularly.

  • Residence within the designated territory (Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, or Mississippi).
