Sales Account Manager (Food Ingredients)
Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office) | Travel: 25–40%
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for the food ingredient or specialty chemical industry? Join our growing team as a Sales Account Manager, where you’ll take ownership of a defined territory, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth by offering innovative solutions to our clients.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office, with travel expectations between 25%–40%.
What You’ll Do:

Manage and grow a defined sales territory, nurturing lasting customer relationships.

Onboard new clients while supporting and expanding existing accounts.

Develop and implement strategic, customer-specific growth plans.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across markets and industries.

Analyze market trends and customer needs to uncover new applications for our products.

Build trusted partnerships across customer teams, including R&D, Quality, and Purchasing.

Deliver engaging, solution-focused sales presentations highlighting our ingredient portfolio.

Represent the company at national and regional trade shows to expand market presence.

Prepare timely activity reports for the Head of Sales & Marketing.
What You Bring:

5+ years of sales experience in the food ingredient or specialty chemical industry.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proven success in direct ingredient sales to customers and via distributors or brokers.
