Sales Account Manager (Food Ingredients)
Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office) | Travel: 25–40%

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for the food ingredient or specialty chemical industry? Join our growing team as a Sales Account Manager, where you’ll take ownership of a defined territory, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth by offering innovative solutions to our clients.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office, with travel expectations between 25%–40%.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow a defined sales territory, nurturing lasting customer relationships.

  • Onboard new clients while supporting and expanding existing accounts.

  • Develop and implement strategic, customer-specific growth plans.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across markets and industries.

  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to uncover new applications for our products.

  • Build trusted partnerships across customer teams, including R&D, Quality, and Purchasing.

  • Deliver engaging, solution-focused sales presentations highlighting our ingredient portfolio.

  • Represent the company at national and regional trade shows to expand market presence.

  • Prepare timely activity reports for the Head of Sales & Marketing.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the food ingredient or specialty chemical industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven success in direct ingredient sales to customers and via distributors or brokers.
