What We are Seeking:

•Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a field related to healthcare, along with at least three (3) years of experience in the financial and accounting sector.
Alternatively, a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related healthcare field with at least two (2) years of experience in Patient Accounting will be considered.
•The ideal candidate will have excellent active listening skills, strong organizational capabilities, effective problem-solving abilities, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, analytical thinking skills, good time management abilities, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with staff members.

Working Hours and Compensation:

•This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
•Salary range is between $47,000 and $70,000, depending on experience and benefits.

Responsibilities:

•Manage accounting functions including month-end and year-end closing activities, as well as the preparation of financial statements. Assist in payroll and accounts payable processes.
•Aid in the development of annual budgets and continuously monitor budgets. Provide information and education to the management team to facilitate financial oversight of department operations.
•Collect information for tax filings, annual financial audits, and Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
•Prepare and organize financial and accounting transactions, including the preparation of financial statements.
•Support Directors in budgeting and financial reporting.
•Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines.
•Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
•Prepare, verify, allocate, and post journal entries.
•Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
•Generate requested reports.
•Analyze data.
•Multi-task and switch between tasks as needed.
•Adapt to various financial and reporting software.
