Air Compliance Tech (Oil and Gas)

📍 Field-Based | Morgantown, WV or Marietta, OH | Travel Across OH & PA

We’re seeking a field-based Air Compliance Technician to support regulatory compliance across oil & gas operations throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for a safety-focused, hands-on technician with strong air compliance and LDAR experience.

🔑 Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of field experience, preferably in oil & gas or environmental compliance

• Prior experience with FLIR cameras and OGI inspections

• Working knowledge of air regulations (e.g., NSPS OOOOa/OOOOo, Ohio EPA, PA DEP)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data reporting systems

• Self-starter with the ability to manage a heavy travel schedule (70–80%)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred: Associate’s degree in environmental science, engineering tech, or related field

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct LDAR inspections using FLIR cameras at production, completion, and pipeline facilities

• Perform minor field repairs on emissions equipment (e.g., gaskets, thief hatches)

• Record and maintain detailed documentation for all inspections, repairs, and compliance actions

• Work closely with Operations, Production, and Regulatory teams to resolve air compliance issues

• Conduct QA/QC reviews and organize data within internal systems

• Plan and manage daily site visits independently, often with overnight travel

• Complete office-based reporting tasks (~20–30% of the role)

🌎 Work Environment:

• 70–80% field-based in rugged outdoor terrain and various weather conditions

• 20–30% office-based for data entry, reporting, and compliance documentation
