Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney

Candidate Profile:

• Must possess a JD from a top-tier law school with a remarkable academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in D.C. is required.
• 3–6 years of substantive experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger clearance is essential.
• Experience handling government investigations, including FTC or DOJ merger or conduct investigations, and/or private antitrust litigation is highly preferred.
• A strong background in compliance and counseling related to antitrust matters is expected.
• Prior experience in a large law firm or government agency is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in significant antitrust litigation cases, including class actions, merger challenges, and lawsuits against competitors.
• Provide expert advice to clients on regulatory investigations conducted by the FTC and DOJ, including merger review and conduct inquiries.
• Offer strategic counsel on antitrust compliance, risk assessment, and regulatory approvals.
• Draft and negotiate key legal documents, such as motions, memoranda, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate closely with clients to develop and implement defense strategies in complex antitrust matters.
