We are currently hiring for the position of Analytical Chemistry Application Engineer in Houston, TX. As an Application Engineer, you will play an integral role in providing support for our microwave-assisted synthesis, Raman spectroscopy, and FTIR product lines. This includes conducting feasibility studies, resolving customer application questions, and offering technical support. In this role, you will report to the Business Unit Sales Manager and work from our office in Houston, TX. The salary for this position ranges from $67,000 to $71,000 and includes full benefits, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies and present findings.
• Oversee installations, provide training, and offer technical support to clients.
• Analyze data and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Represent the company at conferences and trade shows.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sample digestion, spectroscopy, or related methods.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation abilities to effectively interact with clients of varying levels.
• Strong ability to work independently and prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or engineering.
• Willingness to travel overnight frequently (up to 50% of the time).
• Valid driver's license and passport required.
