Our client is currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Analytical Chemistry Application Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for microwave-assisted synthesis, Raman spectroscopy, and FTIR product lines, including conducting feasibility studies and resolving customer application inquiries. Reporting to the Business Unit Sales Manager, this position will be based at our Western region office in Los Angeles, CA. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $76,000, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, profit sharing bonuses, and a generous $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing and evaluating feasibility studies through sample measurements.
• Conducting installations, providing training, and offering technical support.
• Analyzing data and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Representing the company at conferences and trade shows.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sample digestion, spectroscopy, or related methods.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients of diverse backgrounds, from scientists to executives.
• Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or engineering.
• Willingness to travel frequently, up to 50% of the time.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and passport.
