Our client is seeking a talented Particle/Surface Characterization Specialist to join their team in Houston, TX. As an Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales of our client's particle sizing, zeta potential, surface, and porosity instruments. Additionally, you will provide after-sales support to our existing customers. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $63,000 to $74,500, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Furthermore, our client offers profit sharing bonuses and a generous $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate results, and present findings.
• Perform installations, provide training, and offer technical support.
• Analyze data and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Participate in conferences and trade shows to promote our client's products.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in particle size and imaging, pore size, BET surface area, or related methods.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with individuals from various backgrounds and professional levels.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science.
• Willingness to travel overnight frequently, up to 50% of the time.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and passport.
