Application Engineer – Rheology (Richmond, VA) 1577
Our client is seeking a Rheology Applications Engineer to join their team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the sales of our client's rheometers and providing after-sales support to existing customers. You will have the opportunity to conduct feasibility studies, perform installations and training, troubleshoot issues, and attend conferences and trade shows.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in rheology or related methods, along with exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients at all levels. A bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science is required. You should also be comfortable with frequent overnight travel, as up to 50% travel may be required. A valid driver's license and passport are also necessary.
Our client offers a competitive base salary range of $61,500/yr - $69,500/yr, based on experience. Additionally, they provide full benefits, profit sharing bonuses, and a special $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years to reward long-term commitment to the company.
