Our client is looking for an experienced Application Engineer specializing in Torque Rheometers & Extrusion. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales of our client's innovative instruments and providing excellent after-sales support to existing customers. The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $79,400. The position is based in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, profit sharing bonuses, and a generous $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing thorough feasibility studies and presenting accurate measurements.
• Conducting installations, training sessions, and providing technical support.
• Analyzing data and swiftly resolving any troubleshooting issues.
• Participating actively in conferences and trade shows to showcase our products.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in mixing, extrusion, or a similar field.
• Outstanding communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) to effectively interact with a diverse range of clients, from Quality Control Technicians to University Professors and CEOs.
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) on overnight trips.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and passport.
