Our client is seeking an Application Engineer for a new opportunity. This role will involve providing support for the sales of their Torque Rheometers & Extruder instruments and delivering after-sales assistance to existing customers. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $79,400. The work location is in Los Angeles. Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting, assessing, and presenting feasibility studies through sample measurements.
• Overseeing installations, providing training, and delivering technical support.
• Analyzing data and resolving issues efficiently.
• Participating in conferences and trade shows to enhance industry knowledge.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mixing, extrusion, or related methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) to engage with clients ranging from Quality Control Technicians to University Professors and CEOs.
• Ability to work independently with a strong dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science.
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) and stay overnight as required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and passport.
