Area Sales Manager – Lasers – Capital Equipment

Territory: Pennsylvania and New Jersey - candidates can reside in either PA or NJ.
Offering a base salary of $75,000 with estimated total earnings of $350,000 or more through commissions (uncapped). In addition, a monthly car allowance of $625, coverage for gas and expenses, and comprehensive benefits package.
We are seeking a Sales Manager specializing in laser technology to sell aesthetic lasers and capital equipment to Med Spas, Dermatologists, and Plastic Surgeons.
The ideal candidate will be a hunter and closer, capable of meeting a seven-figure quota. Additionally, they will be responsible for mentoring and supporting Territory Managers in their region. Extensive travel, approximately 60% of the time, will be required.

Area Sales Manager

Summary

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue and implementing our sales strategies in your designated geographical area. This includes presenting our products to potential clients, identifying specific consumer profiles, and devising effective ways to promote and sell our laser technology. Ultimately, your goal will be to expand our customer base and establish our reputation in the assigned region.

· Achieve or exceed the established sales quota for your assigned territory

· Generate leads through cold calling, both in-person and over the phone

· Address customer inquiries regarding product features, pricing, and additional services

· Represent the company at conventions and industry events

· Guide customers through the sales cycle to secure deals

· Create and close sales opportunities through effective communication and persuasion techniques

· Thrive in a high-paced work environment with multiple time-sensitive tasks at hand

· Demonstrate resilience and persistence in the face of rejection, maintaining focus on achieving sales goals

· Effectively leverage and utilize all available resources, including reference sites, clinical specialists, and partner personnel, to achieve short-term and long-term objectives within the territory

· Cross-sell additional products to existing customers

· Collaborate with fellow sales representatives to share best practices and maintain a cohesive sales approach for individual and team sales targets.

· Fulfill all customer care and financial requirements set by the company

· Provide regular and timely reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) to the Regional Sales Director, updating on the status of leads and sales opportunities through the CRM database (Salesforce).

· Cultivate relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals in relevant specialties and practices

· Assist Territory Sales Managers in closing deals

· Provide mentorship and support to Territory Sales Managers

· Hold a sales quota in the seven-figure range

Education and Experience Required

  • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 4 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical or capital equipment sales field
  • Experience with medical devices, capital equipment, surgical devices, or laser sales is advantageous

· Preferred experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have direct reports but entails providing mentorship and support to Territory Sales Managers

Work Environment

This position will largely be conducted remotely. You will be utilizing standard office equipment, such as computers and cellphones, and will also be required to visit doctor's offices and spas.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

Travel

This position requires approximately 60% travel as needed.
