Area Sales Manager – Lasers – Capital Equipment

Territory: Colorado/ Nebraska/ North Dakota/ South Dakota - We prefer the candidate to live in the Greater Denver area.

The base salary for this position is $75,000 with estimated earnings of $350,000+ through commissions (uncapped). The benefits package includes a $625 per month car allowance, gas reimbursement, and full benefits.
We are seeking a Laser Equipment Sales Manager to sell aesthetic lasers (capital equipment) to Med Spas, Dermatologists, and Plastic Surgeons.
The ideal candidate must be a proactive hunter and closer who can meet or exceed a seven-figure sales quota. Additionally, they will provide mentorship and support to Territory Managers.
This role requires approximately 60% travel.

Area Sales Manager

Summary

As an Area Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to generate revenue and implement our sales strategies in the assigned geographical area. This involves presenting our products to potential clients, identifying their specific needs, and recommending effective promotional and sales techniques. Ultimately, your goal is to expand our customer base and establish a strong reputation in your region.

Essential Functions

· Achieve or surpass the quota assigned to your territory

· Generate leads through in-person and phone cold calling

· Address customer inquiries about product features, pricing, and additional services

· Represent the company at conventions and events

· Guide customers through the sales process and assist in closing deals

· Create and seize sales opportunities through effective communication and persuasion

· Thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks simultaneously

· Demonstrate resilience and determination to handle rejection and persevere

· Address customer objections and effectively turn them into sales opportunities

· Have an insatiable drive for sales success

· Conduct product demonstrations

· Utilize available assets, reference sites, and collaborate with the company's clinical specialists and partner personnel to achieve objectives within the territory.

· Cross-sell additional products

· Collaborate with sales representatives within and outside of your territory to share best practices and achieve individual and group sales quotas

· Fulfill all Customer Care and Finance requirements established by the company

· Provide timely reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) regarding the status of leads and sales opportunities in the pipeline using the CRM database (Salesforce)

· Establish and nurture relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals in relevant fields

· Assist Territory Sales Managers in closing deals

· Mentor and provide support to Territory Sales Managers

· Achieve a quota in the seven-figure range

· Be able to effectively close deals

Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical or capital sales field
  • Experience in medical devices, capital equipment, surgical devices, or laser sales is a plus

Skills Required

· Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the job and the team

· Proficiency in Microsoft applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

· Prior experience with Salesforce is preferred

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to multitask effectively

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have any direct reports, but you will mentor and support Territory Sales Managers.

Work Environment

This job primarily operates remotely, with occasional visits to doctors' offices and spas. You will utilize standard office equipment such as computers, tables, and cell phones.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

Travel

This position requires approximately 60% travel as needed.
