Area Sales Manager – Lasers – Capital Equipment

Territory: Southwest Texas - Candidates can reside in either Austin, TX or San Antonio, TX
$75k base salary with potential earnings exceeding $350k through uncapped commissions. This position also includes a $625 monthly car allowance, gas reimbursement, expense coverage, and comprehensive benefits package.
We are seeking a Laser Equipment Sales Supervisor to sell aesthetic lasers (capital equipment) to Med Spas, Dermatologists, and Plastic Surgeons.
The ideal candidate will be a driven and results-oriented individual with the ability to exceed a 7-figure sales quota. In addition, this role involves mentoring and providing support to Territory Managers.
This position requires approximately 60% travel.

Job Description

Area Sales Manager

Summary

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and implementing our sales strategies within their assigned geographic region. This includes presenting our products to prospective clients, identifying target consumer segments, and recommending effective marketing approaches. Ultimately, your goal will be to expand our customer base and establish a strong market presence in your territory.

Essential Functions

· Meet or exceed sales quotas assigned to the territory

· Generate leads through cold calling and in-person visits

· Address customer inquiries regarding product features, pricing, and additional services

· Represent the company at industry conventions

· Guide customers through the entire sales process

· Identify and seize sales opportunities based on emotional appeals

· Thrive in a fast-paced work environment

· Manage multiple time-sensitive tasks simultaneously

· Possess the tenacity to handle rejection and persevere

· Address customer objections and convert them into sales

· Conduct product demonstrations

· Utilize available resources such as reference sites, clinical specialists, and partner personnel to accomplish short-term and long-term objectives within the assigned territory

· Cross-sell additional products

· Collaborate with sales representatives in and outside your territory to share best practices and support a synchronized sales approach for meeting individual and group quotas

· Fulfill all customer care and financial requirements established by the company

· Provide regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) to the Regional Sales Director regarding the status of leads and sales opportunities in the pipeline, utilizing the CRM database (Salesforce)

· Cultivate relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other medical professionals

· Assist Territory Sales Managers in closing deals

· Mentor and provide support to Territory Sales Managers

Education and Experience Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in the Medical or Capital Sales field
  • Experience in medical devices, capital equipment, surgical devices, or laser sales is a plus

· Experience with Salesforce is preferred

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have direct reports but will assist in mentoring Territory Sales Managers.

Work Environment

This position operates remotely, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and tablets. You will also be required to visit medical offices and spas.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

Travel

This position requires approximately 60% travel as needed.
