Primary Responsibilities: As a Production Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer, your role involves overseeing a significant engineering project from start to finish, while also supervising two technicians. Specifically, you will be responsible for managing two assembly lines focused on insulation and painting.


  • Collaborate with industry groups and perform advanced engineering tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Manage all aspects of a major engineering project, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Create action plans and estimate resource requirements for project execution.
  • Generate monthly progress and cost reports for top-level management.
  • Utilize CAE tools such as Solidworks, MATLAB, LabView, Minitab, EES, CFD, FEA.
  • Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures, offering advice on engineering matters.
  • Analyze and determine root causes of component failures.
  • Provide technical solutions for manufacturing or customer field issues, demonstrating knowledge of multiple operations.
  • Lead the design team during the initial phase of product development, utilizing effective team management skills.
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare reports to communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Successfully complete assigned engineering projects according to customer specifications, within schedule and budget constraints, coordinating activities among the engineering team, contractors, and vendors.
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions to address specific needs.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.
  • Experience in assembly and process engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or training.
  • Knowledge of 6 sigma or FMEA methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Previous involvement in leading Kaizen-related or Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Ability to quickly analyze and resolve issues through root cause analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP and MRP systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience managing direct reports.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Related Field.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or training.
