Qualifications: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree is required along with at least six years of experience in poultry processing. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Specifically:

· A minimum of five years of progressive managerial experience is required.

· Preferred experience in the foodservice and portion control sectors of the business.

· Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve departmental objectives.

· Detail-oriented, structured, and effective communication skills. Must be able to work within deadlines and handle pressure.

· Strong problem-solving, negotiating, and decision-making abilities.

· Excellent follow-through on assigned tasks. Must be able to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.

The responsibilities of the Plant Supervisor include overseeing the daily operations of the processing plant, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and meeting all plant objectives. Specifically, this role will:

· Direct the processing of assigned products according to schedule.

· Ensure cost standards, safety requirements, quality standards, and food safety specifications are met for maximum output at minimum cost.

· Maintain an efficient plant organization to maximize employee utilization and development.

· Implement plans to achieve plant financial targets and goals.

· Develop and maintain employee training and development programs.

· Act as the facility champion for safety programs and initiatives across the company.

**This position requires working hours from 4 am to 1 pm, considered the 3rd shift.**
