Assistant Project Manager
Who We’re Searching For:
We are in need of a motivated Associate Project Coordinator with at least 3 years of experience in the fields of construction, design, architecture, engineering, or a related area.
The ideal Associate Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing project activities to ensure adherence to cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards. Through continuous learning, our Associate Project Coordinator will provide support to the Project Manager and Superintendents and will have the ability to fulfill distinct roles while effectively collaborating with clients, architects, subcontractors, and colleagues. Successful candidates will have a strong drive to complete tasks and will effectively represent the firm, including making commitments in relation to schedule and cost within approved parameters.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Associate Project Coordinator, you will be involved in coordinating, developing, managing, and implementing all necessary aspects to ensure the timely and budgeted construction of the project, meeting the specified quality standards. Your daily responsibilities will include assisting the Project Manager in construction planning, scheduling equipment deliveries, facilitating the distribution of documents, and acting as a liaison between project team members and the community. Your aim will be to promote the interests of both the firm and clients. Additionally, you will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Executives to provide technical expertise in cost estimation, contract negotiation, change management, and establishing project objectives to ensure successful project completion. What You Need To Bring:
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, design, architecture, engineering, or a related field, with at least one project experience involving a budget of $20+ million-dollar.
· Experience overseeing at least one ground-up construction project.
· Proficiency in PlanGrid, Procore, and Sage 300 Timberline, Textura is preferred.
· Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
· Proficient in Excel and all MS Office Programs.
· Strong and proactive communication skills (written, phone, and in person).
· Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, and the community.
