Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team in West Sacramento, CA. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field Operations teams throughout the construction project lifecycle. With your strong coordination skills, you will ensure that projects are completed successfully, on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
• Establish efficient and effective communication channels with internal and external project partners.
• Manage project documentation, including Plans, Specifications, RFIs, Submittals, and Meeting Minutes, to ensure alignment and accuracy.
• Prepare trade contracts for review by Project Manager/Superintendent.
• Collaborate with on-site Project Manager and Superintendent to implement the safety plan, conduct safety meetings, and investigate accidents.
• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating and overseeing field operations, including scheduling, testing, inspections, and maintaining look-ahead schedules.
• Manage cost, identify changes, estimate, and execute change orders.
• Obtain and maintain relevant safety and project management certifications.
• Perform assigned duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry.
