PRIVACY LITIGATION ATTORNEY

Our client, a prestigious law firm acknowledged in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms^®, is currently hiring a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join their Complex Class Action & Biometric Privacy Practice Group located in Chicago. This position presents an exciting opportunity for lawyers interested in delivering counseling and compliance services related to the Biometric Information Privacy Act ("BIPA") and technology, as well as representing technology providers and employers in BIPA class actions.

Candidate Profile:

• Hold a JD from a top-tier law school with an impressive academic track record.

• Must be admitted to the Illinois Bar.

• Have 2+ years of significant experience in areas such as biometric privacy, class action defense, or related litigation.

• Demonstrate strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.

• Capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer strategic legal guidance on matters concerning BIPA compliance and technology-driven privacy issues.

• Represent clients in BIPA class action lawsuits on behalf of technology providers, employers, and other entities.

• Handle cases from initiation to resolution, which includes drafting legal documents, conducting investigations, and preparing for trial.

• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategies and minimize risks.

• Keep updated on emerging legal issues related to biometric privacy and evolving data protection laws.
