Our client, an expanding law firm in Dallas, Texas, specializing in real estate development and public finance, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate development, public finance, public law, and/or government relations. You should have substantial experience in various areas such as real estate, municipal utility districts (MUD), public improvement districts, public-private partnerships in land development, and public law.

Responsibilities:

• Apply your legal expertise to provide guidance and support on real estate development, public finance, and public law matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure effective representation for clients.
• Assume a significant role in existing and new projects, actively contributing to the success of the team.
• Engage with clients and establish enduring relationships through exceptional service.
• Manage diverse legal cases related to real estate development, municipal utility districts, public improvement districts, public-private partnerships, and public law.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements in real estate development projects and public finance initiatives.
• Review and prepare legal documents, contracts, and agreements to safeguard client interests.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
• Must hold a current Texas Bar license in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience in real estate, real estate development, municipal utility districts (MUD), public improvement districts, public-private partnerships in land development, or public law.
• Demonstrated ability to take on important roles in projects and establish strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
