Audit Manager

Our client is a rapidly expanding international accounting firm that specializes in offering exceptional assurance and tax accounting services to a wide range of industries. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing, they deliver efficient solutions customized to meet the unique needs of their clients.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Audit Supervisor specialized in Nonprofit Organizations (NPOs) and Single Audits. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in audit management, demonstrating a proven track record of conducting and overseeing audits for nonprofit entities. This role mandates an in-depth understanding of compliance requirements, financial reporting, and audit standards relating to NPOs. Some Hybrid work options may be available.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • A minimum of 4 years of audit experience, focusing on nonprofit organizations and Single Audits.
  • At least 4 years of public accounting experience in audit.
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, OMB Uniform Guidance, and other relevant standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee audit engagements for nonprofit organizations, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
  • Supervise the planning, execution, and completion of audits, including Single Audits, in accordance with GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant standards.
  • Evaluate and review internal controls, financial statements, and other documentation to identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to audit staff, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to project timelines.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, addressing their concerns and delivering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of changes in regulations and standards impacting nonprofit organizations and Single Audits.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management and clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on audit and financial matters.
