Audit Senior (CPA Firm)

MUST HAVES:

• 2–3 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or Regional CPA firm highly valued)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Eligible to sit for the CPA Exam (CPA license preferred but not required)

• Strong knowledge of audit, review, and compilation procedures

• Intermediate Excel skills (including formulas and VLOOKUPS)

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work

What You’ll Do:

• Take a hands-on role in audit engagements—planning through issuance

• Assist in preparing financial statements and accompanying footnotes

• Rigorously self-review workpapers prior to supervisor review

• Help develop audit programs, time budgets, and planning documentation

• Mentor and train staff accountants through on-the-job coaching

• Contribute to special projects as needed

• Offer performance feedback and contribute to evaluations

• Participate in internal committees and firm initiatives

• Actively seek opportunities to take on new and challenging work
