Audit Senior (Public Accounting)

Join an innovative team as an Audit Senior/ In-Charge, where you will participate in a diverse range of audit and assurance assignments, working collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and partners. This position plays a fundamental role in strategizing engagements, executing audits according to specific programs, preparing financial statements, and delivering valuable insights to clients to optimize their systems and operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform thorough accounting and auditing assignments with minimal supervision.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
• Lead the development of workpapers and financial statements, adhering to GAAP or OCBOA standards.
• Facilitate client engagements by actively participating in planning and scheduling activities.
• Analyze and enhance client internal controls and processes through detailed assessments and recommendations.
• Effectively communicate with clients to acquire necessary information and minimize disruptions.
• Take on responsibility for overseeing client engagements and fostering strong client relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Preferably a CPA or CPA candidate.
• 3-4 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
• Demonstrates a commitment to completing 40 hours of continuing professional education annually.
