• Active CPA license

• Taxation experience
• At least 3+ years of audit and tax experience

A top 25 CPA firm in the Chicagoland region and a recognized regional leader is seeking an Audit Senior with strong public accounting experience in audit, tax, and financial reporting to join its high-performing team. This is an opportunity to take a key role in a growing and dynamic practice focused on serving privately held businesses, nonprofit organizations, and high-net-worth individuals.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide outstanding client service and maintain proactive communication

• Lead and direct staff accountants during client engagements

• Ensure assignments are completed within budget and timeline

• Review work papers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance

• Prepare business tax returns as part of audit engagements

• Conduct accounting compilations and reviews

• Create detailed spreadsheet analyses (e.g., trial balances, reconciliations, etc.)

• Participate in special projects and client advisory services

What You Bring:

• BS/MAS Degree in Accounting or related field

• Active CPA license

• 3+ years of audit and tax experience in a public accounting firm

• Strong knowledge of taxation required

• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
