IP Litigation Associate Attorney

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 200 firm, is in search of a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to become part of their thriving Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Practice Group in Austin. This presents an exceptional opportunity to work on well-known clients' high-profile cases, while also growing within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Candidate Profile:

• Holds a JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Texas is required.
• Brings 3-5 years of substantial experience in IP litigation, primarily focused on patent litigation.
• Prior exposure to sophisticated IP disputes is necessary, with experience gained at an AmLaw 200 law firm or its equivalent.
• Demonstrates exceptional legal writing skills and the ability to draft intricate pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Possesses strong analytical and advocacy skills, having experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with a preference for working alongside experienced litigators in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complex patent litigation cases, representing clients involved in high-stakes disputes.
• Create and present motions, develop litigation strategies, and collaborate closely with senior attorneys.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and handle the preparation of technical expert witnesses.
• Assist in trial preparation, which includes drafting pre-trial motions and coordinating trial logistics.
• Work collaboratively with a team of accomplished litigators, receiving mentorship and opportunities for professional development.
