Your Responsibilities:
- This is a unique opportunity to spearhead a new department and shape its leadership. You will develop policies, standards, and actively participate in projects from conceptualization to client commissioning.
- Lead a team in designing, constructing, and deploying advanced automated systems, including programming PLCs and HMIs.
- Manage project schedules, liaise with clients and suppliers, and ensure timely delivery.
- Establish and maintain automation software standards while troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Partner with senior management to influence corporate policies and strategic objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and promoting knowledge sharing within the department.
Your Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Possess a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or a related field) and have 7 to 10 years of experience in electrical design or automation.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in working with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems (such as Rockwell ControlLogix, Fisher Roc), and possess a sound understanding of electrical design principles.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, deliver results, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Adaptability: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (specifically within North America) up to 50% of the time.
