What You’ll Be Doing
As an Automation Controls Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in the design, programming, and implementation of advanced control systems used in web handling environments. You'll get to:

Design and build electrical control systems and panels

Program PLCs, HMIs, and drives (primarily Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Parker-Hannifin)

Oversee panel builds and serve as project manager on assigned projects

Commission systems at client sites (domestic travel up to 6 weeks/year)

Meet project timelines and budgets

Develop electrical schematics
-
Present ideas and updates to various stakeholders
-
Participate in budgeting and planning

Work with advanced technologies, including robotics and factory automation tools
What You Bring to the Table
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

A degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
-
At least 2 years of experience with:
-
Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin controls
-
HMI programming
-
Web handling systems
-
-
Comfort with occasional travel (up to 6 weeks/year, domestic)

A stable work history
-
U.S. citizenship or Green Card
-
Residence within 45 minutes of Appleton, WI
