Our client is a reputable company specializing in automation solutions for various industries including food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, water and wastewater, printing, packaging, and CNC machining. They are known for their custom control systems that are tailored to meet specific client needs. Currently, they are looking to expand their team and hire a skilled Automation Engineer to contribute to their ongoing success.


  • Devise automation strategies and select appropriate electrical components and software based on customer specifications, application requirements, and industrial standards.
  • Create and optimize PLC programs to enhance performance and resolve complex controls issues.
  • Assist with the commissioning and startup of control systems, effectively identifying and resolving electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance and remote support to resolve issues and conduct repairs for installed systems.
  • Analyze the causes of electrical, mechanical, and software failures and implement preventive solutions.
  • Maintain accurate project files for proper documentation and efficient project management.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering managers to prioritize and schedule tasks effectively.


  • Prior experience in designing and implementing industrial control systems or control panels.
  • AS/BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology or demonstrated relevant experience.
  • Preferred familiarity with automation platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, GE, Omron, Automation Direct, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, ABB 800xA, FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Tatsoft, Ignition, iFix, Wonderware, as well as AC drives, DC drives, motion control, robotics, machine vision, and functional safety.
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment without compromising attention to detail.
