Automation / Robotics Technician – turn key robotic install

A reputable company in Peachtree City, GA, that has a significant market share in their industry is seeking an experienced Robotic Installation Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for installing robotic equipment and assisting in the assembly process. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and offers competitive benefits including a 401K with a 100% match to 5% and a generous bonus potential based on performance. Relocation assistance is also available for the right candidate. The company utilizes Fanuc, ABB, and UR robots, as well as Allen Bradley PLCs.


As an Robotic Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robotic systems in a plant environment. This role requires a combination of mechanical, electrical, and facilities support. You will be tasked with configuring, testing, operating, maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting robots and other automated systems used in production. The primary objective is to increase efficiency and prolong the lifespan of the equipment.


  1. Assist in the construction of robotic equipment and collaborate closely with engineers.
  2. Thoroughly test robotic systems to ensure proper functionality before use.


  1. Level I - High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of related experience or training.
  2. Level II - High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years of related experience or training.
  3. Level III - Technical training certificates or associate degree, with 6-8 years of related experience or training.
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and write reports.
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands, walk, reach, climb, and stoop. The employee must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs.


The work environment is typically loud and may involve exposure to extreme heat, heights, and hazardous chemicals.
