Bankruptcy and Restructuring Attorney

Our client, a prominent law firm ranked in the AmLaw 100, is in search of a highly skilled Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate to join their dynamic team in either Atlanta or Nashville. This position presents an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to become part of an experienced team and handle intricate Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and transactional restructuring matters.

Profile of an Ideal Candidate:

• Candidate must possess a JD degree from a prestigious law school, demonstrating strong academic achievements.
• The candidate must be admitted to the Bar in Georgia or Tennessee (mandatory).
• Minimum 2-5 years of substantial experience in the field of bankruptcy and restructuring law, with a specialization in elaborate chapter 11 bankruptcies and transactional restructuring.
• Prior exposure to bankruptcy litigation, with exceptional writing, analytical, and communication abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and transactional restructuring issues.
• Collaborate with national financial institutions to design and implement new loan programs.
• Aid in the formulation and execution of strategies for bankruptcy litigation, including drafting legal documents and managing the discovery process.
• Be an integral part of a cohesive and intellectually stimulating team, contributing to high-stakes bankruptcy and restructuring cases.
