Structural Building Designer (BIM / Revit)

✅ Must-Haves:

• 2–7 years of relevant BIM experience

• Proficiency in Revit (required)

• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree or technical certification preferred)

• Experience preparing structural construction drawings and BIM models

🔧 What You'll Be Doing:

• Produce BIM-generated structural drawings for a wide variety of project types: commercial, industrial, data centers, towers, signage, historic restoration, adaptive reuse, and more

• Create virtual structural models from design markups for construction, fabrication, and procurement

• Collaborate with internal engineers and external teams to ensure model accuracy and timely deliverables

• Apply engineering principles and detailing standards to produce clean, reliable documents

• Support project execution through coordination of design documentation and BIM workflows

• Stay current with BIM software advancements and company best practices

• Develop discipline-specific BIM content and standards

• Assist in reviewing shop drawings and ensuring contract compliance

• Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and professional development activities

💡 Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and light-gauge steel design

• Understanding of foundation systems used in low- to mid-rise construction

• Experience with both new builds and renovation projects
