We’re Recruiting on Purpose for a skilled BIM Designer to join a dynamic and growing structural team in Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, loves working across diverse project types, and is passionate about delivering top-tier design documentation.

🏗️ What You’ll Do:

• Create BIM-based structural drawings for projects across various industries: commercial, industrial, retail, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, data centers, and more

• Develop virtual models from engineer/designer markups to support construction, procurement, and fabrication

• Collaborate with architects, mechanical designers, and internal teams to ensure complete, accurate, and high-quality deliverables

• Apply detailing standards and engineering principles to efficiently produce construction-ready documents

• Maintain project documentation workflows using BIM tools in support of integrated delivery

• Stay on the cutting edge of BIM best practices and software updates

• Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with structural design intent

• Support and improve BIM standards and training across the organization

🧱 Preferred Experience:

• Structural design exposure to wood, steel, light-gauge metal, concrete, and masonry

• Knowledge of shallow and deep foundation systems for low- to mid-rise construction
