Accounting Assistant – Job Description

Our organization is a cutting-edge rapid-turnaround printed circuit board manufacturing company situated in Longmont, CO. This role reports directly to the owner, who is present on-site 80% of the time. The accounting assistant is responsible for handling all accounting and administrative tasks for the company. A minimum of five years of experience with Quickbooks and Excel is mandatory.

Responsibilities

·     Processing payroll, managing employee time cards, and filing payroll taxes

·     Handling accounts payable and receivable, issuing daily invoices, and processing check and credit card deposits

·     Managing employee files and human resources tasks

·     Preparing quarterly tax statements and completing 940 & 941 forms

·     Calculating sales representative commissions

·     Maintaining the general ledger using Quickbooks, and preparing P&L and Balance Sheet statements

·     Providing customer support as needed

·     Overseeing office management tasks and ordering office supplies

     Assisting with product packaging and utilizing UPS & FedEx services

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive benefits package

Salary is negotiable, likely in the range of $45,000-75,000, depending on experience
