Breast Biopsy Mammographer (Outpatient)

Job Overview

We are currently hiring for the position of Breast Biopsy Mammographer at a reputable outpatient imaging practice located in Denver, CO. This is a fantastic opportunity for a full-time position with attractive benefits. As a sign of our appreciation, we are offering a generous sign-on bonus of $15,000 for full-time employees and $7,500 for part-time employees.

Job Qualifications

• Applicants must hold an official ARRT Mammography certification with previous experience in performing breast biopsies.
• Within one year of hire, candidates must obtain a Breast Sonography Certification. We accept ARRT or ARDMS breast registry. Upon completion of this certification, technologists will be eligible for additional compensation.

Job Duties

• Responsibilities include facilitating all pre-biopsy imaging procedures, setting up necessary equipment, and providing post-biopsy care for patients.
• Collaborate with radiologists to assist with various types of breast biopsies such as stereotactic, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and MRI-guided procedures.
• Work alongside the NP and circulating nurse to prepare and maintain accurate charts related to the procedures.
• Strictly adhere to infection control procedures and ensure that all quality control standards are met.
• Perform post-biopsy mammograms, which require Mammography certification, as well as any necessary pre-biopsy imaging using mammography or ultrasound techniques.
