Business Development Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

Location: Preferred - candidates located in Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, Texas, or those open to relocating. The position can also be 100% remote for candidates with the necessary skills and qualifications.

Company Overview: We are an investment firm specializing in private equity for the lower middle market. Our focus is on supporting independent sponsors and acquisition entrepreneurs by providing capital investment and acquisition support through proprietary strategies and relationships.

Job Description: As a Business Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading deal sourcing initiatives in various industries within the private equity sector. This includes building relationships with investment bankers, brokers, and other transaction intermediaries, as well as business owners. In addition, you will support the overall business development and marketing efforts of the firm by executing and managing deal sourcing projects. You will also analyze and review acquisition opportunities, and collaborate with the SVP of Business Development to share insights. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with our Founding Partners, as well as interact with management teams, advisors, lenders, and investors.

As part of our investment team, you will receive comprehensive training in private equity, equipping you with the necessary skills and resources to excel in your responsibilities. This is a career-path role for the right candidate.

Requirements:

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Intermediate Excel skills and fast typing speed.

·Ideally, 2-4 years of experience post-undergrad, with a strong drive to proactively seek out deals.

·1-3 years of prior experience in direct sales and pipeline management.

·Experience in industries such as healthcare, business services, government services, home services, niche manufacturing, or distribution is preferred.

·Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities:

·Lead generation and acquisition sourcing, as well as high-quality lead qualification.

·Manage and respond to inbound deal flow via email.

·Evaluate business acquisition opportunities using established criteria.

·Present actionable opportunities to SVP of Business Development and Partners.

·Review materials and gather necessary information through various communication channels.

·Actively search for new acquisition opportunities using deal sourcing platforms.

·Manage and expand our list of business acquisition intermediaries.

·Coordinate periodic in-person networking events.

·Assist SVP of Business Development with various tasks and initiatives as required.
