BUSINESS LITIGATION ASSOCIATE
Location: Los Angeles, CA
A well-regarded AmLaw 200 national law firm is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with a minimum of four years of experience to join their nationally recognized team specializing in Business Litigation.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Graduated from a top-tier law school with a strong academic background (JD).
- Active California bar license.
- Proven track record of at least four years of experience in business litigation, showcasing the ability to handle all aspects of case work-up and trial preparation.
- Advanced expertise in conducting legal research and writing, including the drafting of briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with outstanding communication abilities and the capacity to interact effectively with clients.
- Motivated and driven with a team-oriented mentality, dedicated to supporting and advancing the firm's national litigation practice.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive management of business litigation cases, encompassing case work-up, trial preparation, and representing clients in court.
- Compose and review crucial legal documents, such as briefs, complaints, and motions.
- Offer strategic advice and skillfully handle intricate business litigation matters.
- Directly engage with clients and play an active role in developing case strategies.
