BUSINESS LITIGATION ASSOCIATE LAWYER

Location: Tampa, FL

We are currently seeking a driven and qualified Associate Lawyer to join our esteemed Business Litigation team in Tampa, Florida. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and complex cases while developing your litigation skills.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school, with an outstanding academic record.
• Bar Admission in Florida is required.
• Experience in business litigation is essential, preferably with a focus on medical malpractice, laboratory medicine, and professional liability.
• Although not mandatory, clerkship experience and knowledge of employment litigation would be beneficial.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills, with a strong desire to enhance litigation abilities, including conducting and defending depositions, presenting motions, collaborating with expert witnesses, and preparing for trial.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of business litigation cases, particularly those involving medical malpractice and professional liability.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and responses to discovery requests.
• Assist in trial preparation, work closely with expert witnesses, and represent clients in court.
• Participate in depositions and motion practice in both federal and state courts.
