BUSINESS LITIGATION ASSOCIATE

Location: Tampa, FL or Miami, FL

Our esteemed client, a well-regarded AmLaw 200 national law firm, is in search of a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their esteemed national Business Litigation department based in either Tampa or Miami, Florida.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate:

• The candidate must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable top-tier law school, with a proven track record of academic excellence.
• A valid and active license to practice law in the state of Florida is required.
• The desired candidate should possess 3 to 5 years of substantial experience in business litigation, including the ability to independently handle courtroom proceedings and hearings.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills are essential, with a preference for candidates with Law Review or Clerkship experience (Federal, Florida state, or appellate).
• Proficiency in handling all aspects of litigation, such as conducting and defending depositions, presenting motions in federal and state courts, collaborating with expert witnesses, and preparing for trial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive both as an individual contributor and as a team player in a high-paced environment where providing exceptional client service is paramount.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of business litigation cases, including strategizing for trial preparation and representing clients in court.
• Prepare and review vital legal documentation, including motions, briefs, and other filings related to litigation matters.
• Offer strategic guidance and effectively manage intricate business litigation cases, particularly within the fields of medical malpractice and professional liability.
• Collaborate closely with clients, formulate case strategies, and engage in high-level litigation tasks.
