BUSINESS LITIGATION AND DEBT RESTRUCTURING ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

We are currently seeking a skilled Business Litigation and Debt Restructuring Associate Attorney to join a prestigious AmLaw 200 law firm in its New York office. This position offers an exciting chance to work on high-stakes litigation, including debt restructuring and judicial commercial foreclosures, in a collaborative and client-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from a top-tier law school with an outstanding academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in business litigation and debt restructuring, including debt workouts and judicial commercial foreclosures.
• Must have experience in handling cases in New York state, federal, and bankruptcy courts.
• Preference for candidates with clerkship experience.
• Active New Jersey Bar Admission and experience in New Jersey courts is a plus.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Enthusiasm for taking on challenging litigation matters and contributing to trial strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in business litigation and debt restructuring cases, including debt workouts, judicial commercial foreclosures, and bankruptcy proceedings.
• Handle litigation matters in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
• Manage discovery processes, including depositions, document production, and preparation of expert witnesses.
• Conduct extensive legal research and provide strategic advice on case matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
• Advocate for clients during hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
