Our team is collaborating with a leading Global Automotive R&D Firm to find a skilled CAE Engineer for their North American HQ located in Dayton, OH.

CAE Engineer (job description):

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and documenting modeling plans for the engineering team, as well as implementing new processes and tools using FEA and computer engineering software.

· As the engineer, you will also be responsible for overall development, testing, and evaluation to support mass production startup based on client and internal requirements.

· Collaborating with design and product development teams, you will identify and address problems or failures to enhance the product.

· Utilizing your skills, you will work in cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet customer and company requirements.

· You will also foster an environment of continuous improvement and achievement for all employees by building trust and teamwork, and adhering to the company philosophy and guiding principles.

· You may be involved in multiple projects to ensure total customer satisfaction and meet quality standards and procedures.

MUST HAVE’S

Required Education::

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Required Experience:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Skills:

• Knowledge and experience with FEA software such as Hypermesh, Nastran, and Abaqus
• Strong understanding of FEA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience in 3D and 2D drawings
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems
• Knowledge of metal fatigue
