Simulation Engineer (job description)
· In this role, you will be responsible for developing and documenting modeling plans, as well as implementing new processes and tools using FEA and computer engineering programs/software.
· You will also be responsible for the overall development, testing, evaluation, and support for mass production startup, ensuring compliance with both client and internal requirements.
· Additionally, you will collaborate with design and product development teams, reporting any problems or failures to drive product improvement.
· You will work in cross-functional teams, delivering products that meet customer and company requirements, while fostering trust, teamwork, and continuous improvement among your colleagues.
· Your decisions and actions will be guided by the company's philosophy and guiding principles, creating an environment of achievement and growth for all employees.
· You may be assigned to multiple projects to ensure total customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards and procedures.
MUST HAVE’S
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in FEA software such as Hypermesh, Nastran, and Abaqus
- Strong understanding of FEA principles and methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills Desired:
- Experience with 3D and 2D drawings
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems
- Knowledge of metal fatigue principles
