Role Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist for our Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position offers full-time hours with 10-hour shifts.
As a Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will work under the supervision of the Cath Lab Manager, Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, Vascular surgeon, and Radiologist. Your main responsibilities will include operating radiographic equipment to obtain images of various body systems, such as the cardiovascular, peripheral, endovascular, and neurological systems. You will perform cardiac, peripheral, vascular, and neuro-interventional procedures on patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab, following relevant standards of practice and the organization's values and mission.
Required qualifications:
- Successful completion of an AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist training program.
- Completion of an approved RCIS training program; or
- Completion of Cath Lab specific on-the-job training.
- California Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 1 year of hire; or
- National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire; or
- National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire; or
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire; or
- National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International within 1 year of hire.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Fluoroscopy License, Certified by the State of California upon hire.
