SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to perform and assist in direct and indirect patient care and procedures in the cardiac, vascular, and interventional specialties. Under the guidance of physicians, you will provide pre, intra, and post-procedural support, ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. Accurate documentation, communication with the healthcare team, adherence to policies and professional standards are essential in this role.

Accurate documentation, communication with the healthcare team, adherence to policies and professional standards are essential in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with physicians during invasive procedures, such as cardiac catheterization, vascular angiograms, stenting, and pacemaker implants.
- Assess and document patient history, including clinical presentation, vital signs, medications, medical consent, and level of consciousness.
- Establish and maintain IV access and administer oxygen as per orders.
- Adhere to principles of sterile technique.
- Provide post-procedure instructions and discharge education to patients, caregivers, and family members.
- Develop, revise, and analyze action plans for procedures.
- Perform glucometer testing and EKG monitoring.
- Conduct radiographic procedures and operate relevant equipment to produce specialized images.
- Administer prescribed medications, including moderate sedation and cardiac medications, under direct physician presence.
- Deliver safe interventions in an organized and prioritized manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide relevant healthcare education to patients and family members regarding treatments and procedures.

- Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program, emphasizing anatomy, physiology, radiation physics, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must possess and maintain a current radiographer license from the State of Ohio Department of Health and a current A.R.R.T. registry as an R.T.
- Preferred advanced registry from A.R.R.T. in Cardiovascular (CV), Cardiac Intervention (CI), or Vascular Intervention (VI).
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) Required.
- ACLS required within one year of employment.
- Preferred Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
- Must possess and maintain a current radiographer license from the State of Ohio Department of Health and a current A.R.R.T. registry as an R.T.
- Preferred advanced registry from A.R.R.T. in Cardiovascular (CV), Cardiac Intervention (CI), or Vascular Intervention (VI).
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) Required.
- ACLS required within one year of employment.
- Preferred Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
You will join a dynamic team led by a respected director in our department. This is a full-time position with hours between 8am-5:30pm. Additionally, there will be an on-call rotation one day a week and every 4th weekend. Compensation ranges from $60k-$90k, dependent on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.
