Role Overview
As an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist/ RCIS, you will be responsible for efficiently producing high-quality radiographs while prioritizing patient care across all age groups. Your expertise in understanding the unique physical and psychosocial needs of patients (infants, children, teenagers, adults, and older adults) will be crucial in delivering superior healthcare services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Preferred: Associate's Degree
• Required: High School Diploma and completion of an AMA-JCH approved program for Radiological Technology
• Essential: Less than 2 years of experience in cardiovascular and intervention training
• Essential: Must hold ARRT certification
• ARRT - American Registered Radiologic Technologist
• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Additional Requirements
Must possess comprehensive knowledge of catheters, guide wires, needles, dilators, and other angiographic instrumentation in the cardiovascular lab.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to physicians during Venclose, Varithena, Venaseal, EVLTs, Ultrasound-guided Sclerotherapy, and RF ablation procedures.
• Conduct venous insufficiency and venous mapping ultrasounds of the lower extremities.
• Perform upper and lower venous duplex and arterial duplex studies.
• Conduct carotid ultrasounds.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on examination findings.
• Communicate examination findings clearly and effectively to physicians.
• Work independently or as part of a team, depending on the assignment.
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of sonographer equipment.
