COMPENSATION: $68,000 to $80,000

Job Description

The Catering Manager plays a key role in overseeing all aspects of catering solutions and special events at our location. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring that the Catering team meets customer expectations and service standards through the successful completion of events and catering delivery requests.

Job Responsibilities

  • Devise and implement catering solutions that meet the specific needs of our customers
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers
  • Ensure consistent quality in event planning and execution
  • Coordinate the delivery and set-up of prepared food for various events
  • Assist clients in planning special events and offer creative solutions to meet their needs
  • Train and lead the catering team to adhere to catering and event standards, guaranteeing high-quality final presentations
  • Distribute completed Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure that all requests are fulfilled prior to each event
  • Achieve food and labor targets
  • Oversee catering events of different sizes and scopes, managing staffing and logistics
  • Accurately report catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members
  • Ensure compliance with food, occupational, and environmental safety policies

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in catering operations
  • Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, and catering is desired
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on event needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Completion of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
