About the Position:

We are currently hiring for the role of a Hemodialysis Technician in Upper Sandusky, OH. As a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. Ensuring patient comfort and safety, while strictly adhering to health and safety regulations, will be an integral part of your role.

Responsibilities:

• Record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, with utmost accuracy.
• Support healthcare professionals in the administration of medications and treatments.
• Aid in patient mobility and ensure proper positioning and transfer techniques.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment by following rigorous infection control protocols.
• Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during treatment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless and efficient patient care.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Preferably, you should have education or experience in physical sciences and/or laboratory techniques.
• Prior experience in dialysis is also appreciated.
• If you have experience in reprocessing, equipment repair, and maintenance, it would be an added advantage.
• Successful completion of a training course in hemodialysis theory and practice or relevant state licensure is mandatory.
• A valid driver's license and insurance are necessary if car travel is involved.
• Having basic computer skills would be beneficial.
