- Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
- Select appropriate therapy activities based on individual needs and capabilities, under the guidance of OTR/L.
- Assist patients in performing daily activities.
- Monitor and encourage patients' progress in therapy activities.
- Educate patients on the use of specialized equipment to improve daily functioning.
- Supervise and ensure proper execution of patients' activities.
- Report patients' progress to the Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).
- Accurately document treatments and outcomes in rehabilitation software.
- Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited OTA Program.
- Valid OTA License in the state of New York.
- Prior experience in long-term care setting preferred.
