Job Description

  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapist in administering occupational therapy sessions
  • Assist patients in enhancing mobility, strength, and independence in daily activities
  • Provide education on treatment plans and progress to patients and caregivers
  • Adapt and follow treatment plans according to Occupational Therapist's instructions
  • Maintain accurate records and document patient sessions
  • Supervise support staff and therapy technicians
  • Engage with patients from various backgrounds and age groups
  • Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives

Qualifications

  • Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Wyoming or eligibility to obtain one
  • Understanding of upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatments
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
