Job Description
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapist in administering occupational therapy sessions
- Assist patients in enhancing mobility, strength, and independence in daily activities
- Provide education on treatment plans and progress to patients and caregivers
- Adapt and follow treatment plans according to Occupational Therapist's instructions
- Maintain accurate records and document patient sessions
- Supervise support staff and therapy technicians
- Engage with patients from various backgrounds and age groups
- Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Wyoming or eligibility to obtain one
- Understanding of upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatments
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
